FINANCE DIRECTOR
City of Johnstown

The City of Johnstown is an urban community of approximately 20,000 residents and a $60 million budget. The City has 128 employees and is a designated Act 47 distressed municipality. It has a Council/Manager form of government operating under a home rule charter.

Responsible for the fiscal management of the City, including, but not limited to, accounting, budgeting, purchasing, cash management, payroll, human resources, and financial reporting functions, as well as supervision of finance and parking staff.

Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required (CPA or Master's Degree preferred). Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in financial management, with at least three (3) years of involvement in public sector/local government finance also preferred. Salary range $55,000 to $60,000.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial management software required. Also must possess excellent verbal written, analytical, and technical skills. Standard City benefits.
