The North Montco Technical Career Center has issued this Notice of Vacancy for an Administrative Director.

The Administrative Director provides leadership for secondary and adult programming and oversight in the development, coordination, and implementation of the Career and Technical Education (CTE) curriculum and instruction programs.

The Administrative Director will: manage all aspects of the North Montco Technical Career Center including budget, state and federal reports, grant writing and oversight, staff evaluations, program marketing and development, capital projects and facility management. This role has responsibility for the development of a long-range plan that details vision, goals, objectives and strategies with supportive data of employment needs, student and district interests, and necessary fiscal support. Additionally, this role will prepare annually an operating plan for the next year specifying curriculum, enrollment, and budgeting of resources and will modify budgets as programs demand and as funding changes occur, balancing adjustments in funding appropriately across programs.

The successful candidate will: bring a unique blend of entrepreneurial spirit, diverse programmatic experience, and an understanding of the compelling need to prepare students to fill the skills gaps in the current workforce and to fill the jobs of the future.

Qualifications:

● Master's Degree in job related area with evidence of increasing levels of responsibility required.
● Five (5) years of career and technical education administrative experience required.
● PA Vocational Administrative Director Certification and/or PA Superintendent Letter of Eligibility.
● Comprehensive knowledge of the design and evaluation of curriculum services for vocational or community education.
● Considerable knowledge of the Pennsylvania CTE Programs of Study (POS).
● Ability to apply Data Driven Decision Making and data analysis of evaluation techniques.
● Ability to analyze CTE performance data and collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement program improvement strategies.
● Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure the appropriate flow of information, collaborative efforts, and feedback.
● Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school districts, school system staff and students, external agencies, vendors, parents, and the community.
● Finally, the candidate should have knowledge and experience in ISO concept and operations, continuing education, grant writing, and a strong knowledge of personnel issues.
