About the Job

Upper Darby, PA- Growing food manufacturer has a direct hire opening for an Office Assistant. This person will be responsible for working in a small customer service department where you will be taking orders over the phone from customers, entering them into the system (Microsoft Great Plains), communicating with production regarding the status of the order, coordinating the logistics for shipment, billing the customer once shipped, as well as answering incoming calls, greeting any customers that come in the office and other administrative duties as needed. Seeking an extrovert that is positive and comfortable working in a family owned company with a team environment. This is a growing company that offers job security with no set career path, so if you are looking for a long-term position wearing multiple hats, this position is for you!!!

Hours= Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Salary= $15-$18/hour depending on experience

Working hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm


- High School Diploma
- 1-10 year's Customer Service/ Administrative experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains (but will train if needed)
- Team player
- Positive attitude
- Outgoing
- Ability to wear multiple hats
