We are looking for volunteers for an important safety research study to help develop a vaginal ring for HIV and pregnancy prevention. After a screening visit to check for eligibility, participation includes 8 visits that occur over 16 days. All visits will occur at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC and are conducted by the Center for Family Planning Research.

You may be eligible to participate if you are:
� 18-45 years old
� Healthy & HIV-negative
� Willing to be sexually abstinent during study participation
� Not at risk for pregnancy due to one of the following:
o Sterilization (self or partner)
o Use of a non-hormonal (copper) IUD
o Engages in sex with women only
o Abstinence

Eligible participants will be compensated up to $950 for their time and effort.
